Selection Process 2026

• Stage 1 — Shortlisting: Based on marks obtained in the candidate’s ITI standard/course and Trade competency (merit-based, no written exam)
• Stage 2 — Trade Test/Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called to verify original certificates and demonstrate trade competency; candidates bear their own travel/related expenses for this
• Post-Training Assessment: On completing the 1-year training, every apprentice must appear for a proficiency test conducted by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (NCVT) in their designated trade

• Stipend: ₹9,600 per month (for candidates engaged after completing their ITI course)

• Step 1 — Register on the National Apprenticeship Portal: Go to apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and enrol as an Apprentice
