What is KTET? (Simple Explanation)

KTET stands for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a state-level exam, similar to CTET, but only valid for Kerala. If you want to become a teacher — or already work as a teacher and want a promotion — in a Government or Aided school in Kerala, you must first pass KTET. • Go to the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan — ktet.kerala.gov.in

Why the KTET Certificate is Important

Exemptions — Who Doesn’t Need to Take KTET

• Candidates who have already qualified CTET Primary Stage are exempted from KTET Category 1
• Candidates who have already qualified CTET Elementary Stage are exempted from KTET Category 2
• Candidates who have passed NET, SET, M.Phil, PhD, or M.Ed are exempted from all KTET Categories (1 to 4)
• Candidates who clear KTET Category 3 also become eligible for recruitment exams under Category 2
