Vacancy Details (Post-wise)

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

• Must be a citizen of India and original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Must hold a valid APST Certificate and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
• Must be able to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Age Limit (as on 5 November 2026):
• – Most posts: 18 to 35 years
• – Head Constable Driver: 18 to 32 years
• – Constable (MT) Driver: 18 to 22 years
• Age relaxation available for APST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification (Main Posts)

• ANM: 2-year ANM course after Class 12 + Registration with AP Nursing Council
• Laboratory Technician: Class 12 (Science) + DMLT Diploma
• Pharmacist: Class 12 (Science) + D.Pharm + Registration with Pharmacy Council
• ECG / Dental Technician: Class 12 (Science) + relevant Diploma
• Health Assistant Jr.: Class 12 + 2-year Health Assistant Training Course
• Drivers / Constables: Class 10 + Valid Driving Licence (LMV / HMV as required) + experience for some posts

Application Fee

• General / APST Candidates: ₹150 (non-refundable)
• PwD / PwBD Candidates: Exempted
• Payment Mode: Online only

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Written Examination (Objective type – 200 marks) – decides the merit
• Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – for Driver / Constable posts (qualifying)
• Stage 3: Driving Test – for Driver posts (qualifying)
• Stage 4: Competency Test – for ANM post (qualifying)
• Stage 5: Medical Fitness Test – for police / driver posts

Written Exam Pattern

• Common Paper (100 marks – 1 hour): General Questions, Reasoning, Arithmetical Ability, English (40 questions)
• Technical Paper (100 marks – 1 hour): Post-specific technical questions (50 questions)
• Total: 200 Marks | 2 Hours
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 33% in each paper separately
• Negative Marking: No

Salary / Pay Level

• Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
• Level-2: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200
• Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (approx.)
• Level-4: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100
• Level-5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300

Note: You can apply for multiple eligible posts by giving preference order. Preference once submitted cannot be changed after closing date.

Useful Tips for Candidates

• Only APST candidates with PRC can apply. Non-APST candidates are not eligible.
• Apply early – the window is short (21 Oct to 5 Nov 2026).
• Keep your APST Certificate, PRC and educational documents ready in scanned form.
• For driver posts, make sure your driving licence is valid on all important dates.
• Prepare for both Common Paper and Technical Paper (no negative marking is a big advantage).
• Keep checking apssb.nic.in regularly for admit card and further updates.
