Today’s Big Update – What Has Happened?

1. RBI has released the final result for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General Cadre, Panel Year 2026 on 15 October 2026.
2. The result is a PDF. It lists the roll numbers and names of candidates recommended for appointment.
3. A total of 40 candidates have been recommended for the General Cadre. This is the same as the 40 General Cadre vacancies.
4. The result is based on the Phase-II exam (25 July 2026) and interviews (September – October 2026).
5. DEPR and DSIM: the sources I read do not confirm a final result for these two cadres yet. Check the RBI results page for updates.
6. The PDF I checked shows only roll numbers and names. It does not show marks or a cut-off.

How to Check RBI Grade B Final Result 2026 – Step by Step

1. Open the official RBI recruitment website: opportunities.rbi.org.in (or rbi.org.in and go to Opportunities@RBI).
2. Go to Current Vacancies and then Results.
3. Find “Final Result – Recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General Cadre – PY 2026”.
4. Open the result link. The PDF will open.
5. Press Ctrl + F on a computer (or use the search option in your mobile PDF viewer).
6. Type your roll number (you can also try your name) and check if it appears.
7. Download the PDF and save a copy.
8. If your roll number is there, read the RBI result notice carefully for the next steps.

Selection Process – How the Final Result Was Prepared

1. Phase-I exam (13 / 14 June 2026).
2. Phase-II exam (25 / 26 July 2026).
3. Interview (General Cadre interviews were held in September – October 2026).
4. Final Result – the list of recommended candidates (General Cadre: 15 October 2026).

FreeJobAlert says the final merit list is made as per RBI’s recruitment rules and performance in the selection stages. The exact marks weightage was not given in the sources I read, so I have not written it here.

What Should Selected Candidates Do Next?

• Read the official RBI result notice fully and follow its instructions and deadlines.
• Testbook reports that selected candidates must download the Attestation Form, fill it carefully and send five original copies by post to the RBI Services Board. The documents must reach within two weeks of the result (15 October 2026). Two weeks from 15 October is about 29 October 2026 (our calculation).

Your Roll Number Is Not in the List? Read This

• Make sure you are looking at the General Cadre final result. DEPR and DSIM are separate.
• Search by roll number exactly as on your admit card. Roll numbers in the list are 10-digit numbers.
• Try searching your name too, in case of spelling differences.
• The list contains only recommended candidates. If you are not in it, you are not in the final list.
• The sources I read do not mention marks, a cut-off or a scorecard for this result. Keep checking the RBI results page.
• RBI Grade B Notification 2027 is reported by Testbook as expected soon, with 200+ vacancies (not official).
