Sr. Assistant Officer (Law) Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent — full-time degree) from a recognized Indian university/institution with at least 60% marks. In-line experience dealing with litigation handling, drafting and vetting contracts and legal documents, providing legal opinions, arbitration and dispute resolution, statutory/regulatory compliance, coordination with advocates and regulatory authorities. Experience in the power, infrastructure, engineering or manufacturing sector is desirable.
Sr. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project.
Sr. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) B.E./B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project.
Sr. Assistant Engineer (C&I) B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation/Maintenance/Commissioning/Erection Engineering or a combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project.
Sr. Assistant Engineer (IT/ERP) B.E./B.Tech Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics & Communication Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Executive experience (including training period, if any) in an organization of repute, handling and managing IT infrastructure, systems and operations — network security, software development, database management and communication systems. Certified Network Engineer (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) is preferable.

Selection Process

  • Step 1 — Online Selection Test (All India Based): Comprises two parts — Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) and Executive Aptitude Test (EAT). Candidates must qualify BOTH sections separately.
  • Step 2 — Personal Interview: Based on merit and post requirement, shortlisted candidates from the written test are called for interview. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview, as applicable.
  • Final Selection: Based on 85% weightage of the online selection test + 15% weightage of interview marks.
  • Test Centres: Candidates must choose two cities as Preference-I and Preference-II; no change of centre will be considered later. NSPCL reserves the right to cancel or add a test centre depending on response.
  • Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be shortlisted for the written test/interview — the management may conduct a multi-stage selection process (shortlisting/screening, written test, interview, or a combination) and may raise the minimum eligibility standards, as required.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the online selection test; admit cards must be downloaded from the website and will not be sent by post.
