CSL PMIS 2026 — Ineligibility Criteria (Who CANNOT Apply)
- Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs, and IISc
- Candidates holding qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA (or equivalent), MPhil, and PhD
- Those currently undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or training program under any Central Government or State Government scheme
- Those who have already completed apprenticeship/training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at any point in time
- Candidates whose family income (of any family member) exceeds ₹12 Lakh in the preceding Financial Year, as on the date of application submission
- Candidates where any family member is a permanent/regular government employee
Important: These ineligibility conditions are strictly enforced under the central PMIS guidelines — candidates falling under any of the above categories should not apply, as their candidature will be rejected during certificate/eligibility verification even if shortlisted initially.
Selection Process 2026
- Stage 1: Online Application through the PMIS Portal (pminternship.mca.gov.in)
- Stage 2: Short-listing of candidates based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade/discipline
- Stage 3: In case two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks, relative merit will be decided based on seniority in age (older candidates get preference)
- Stage 4: Shortlisted candidates will be issued an Offer of Internship Training through the PMIS portal itself
- Stage 5: Certificate Verification — candidates must appear with original certificates for proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any), etc., along with self-attested copies, as per the date mentioned in the offer letter
- Stage 6: On successful certificate verification, candidates will be provisionally inducted for internship training, subject to Medical Fitness clearance
