• Use Ctrl+F (the “Find” tool) in the PDF to search for your own roll number
• Roll numbers are listed under different groups: Directorate of Education Male, Directorate of Education Female, or NDMC, and further split by category (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwBD)

If your roll number is in the list, that is great news. But DSSSB has written some important points that every nominated candidate should understand clearly:

• This is only a provisional nomination. It is based only on your Tier-I exam marks and what you wrote in your online form
• DSSSB has not yet checked the documents you uploaded in your e-dossier
• Your eligibility — age, qualification, experience, and category — will now be checked by the User Department (either the Directorate of Education or NDMC), using the cut-off date of 8 March 2024
• Caste certificates (SC/ST/OBC), EWS certificates, and disability (PwBD) certificates will be double-checked with the office that issued them
• If you fail to meet any condition, your selection can be cancelled, even after your roll number has appeared in this result
• Having your name in this list does not give you an automatic right to the job — final approval only comes after the department is fully satisfied
• The appointment letter is given only by the department, after they check your form, documents, and e-dossier fully
• There is no waiting list for this exam. If any selected candidate does not join, that seat is not given to the next person on the list — instead, it is added to future vacancies
• With this result, the recruitment process for Post Code 808/24 is now officially closed

What Is a TGT, and What Does the Job Involve?

TGT means Trained Graduate Teacher. A TGT usually teaches students from Class 6 to Class 10 in a government school. A TGT (Sanskrit) specifically teaches the Sanskrit language and its related subjects at this level. This is a regular, permanent government teaching job — not a contract or temporary post — under either the Directorate of Education (Delhi Government schools) or the New Delhi Municipal Council.

TGT posts under the Directorate of Education, Delhi, are normally placed in Pay Level-7 of the pay matrix (around ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400), plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other benefits that regular Delhi Government employees get.
