The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has issued a notice dated 4 November 2026 for the display of draft answer keys of various online Computer Based Tests (CBT). The notice covers 21 post codes. The draft key and the objection facility will not open for everyone on one day. They will open in seven phases, from 6 November 2026 to a final window of 8 to 12 December 2026, and each post code has its own five-day window.
The most important thing is to find your own post code and your own window. A wrong date can mean you miss the objection facility for your exam. This guide gives you the full table, a window-wise summary, a simple way to find your post code, how to raise a good objection, a score-checking method and a plan for the five days of your window. The notice is only about draft keys, so no result or final key date is announced yet.

| Total | 21 |
Every window is exactly five days long, and the biggest group is Phase 6 with six post codes. The whole process spreads over 36 days (6 November to 12 December). Two windows overlap: Phase 4 and Phase 5 (24 to 26 November), so a candidate can see two different post codes active on the same day.
Two of the 21 codes (71/25 and 72/25) are from 2025 advertisements, and the other 19 are from 2026 advertisements. So these two exams belong to an earlier recruitment and are being handled in the last window.
How to Find Your Post Code
- Look at your application form printout or confirmation page, where the post code is printed
- Check your admit card or e-call letter, which carries the post code and post name
- Open the advertisement of your recruitment, where each post has a code in the format number/year (for example 40/26)
- Check your registered e-mail, because messages from DSSSB often carry the post code
The official notice lists only post codes and does not give the post name for each code. So do not guess from the number. Match it with your own documents.
Match the code with the year, too. A code that ends with /25, such as 71/25, belongs to an advertisement of 2025, and one that ends with /26 belongs to 2026. If you applied in two different recruitments, you may have two post codes, and each will have a different window.
How to View the Draft Answer Key
- Open the DSSSB website: dsssb.delhi.gov.in
- Find the draft answer key or objection link for your examination
- Check that the window for your post code is open today
- Open the link and log in using the details that the portal asks for, if login is required
- Open the draft key and read the instructions on the screen
- Compare the published answers with your own responses, where the portal shows them
- Save or download whatever the portal allows
The notice confirms the facility to view draft keys and to file objections. It does not promise a downloadable response sheet for every post code, so follow the options your own portal gives.
How to Raise an Objection — Step by Step
- Open the objection facility for your post code during your five-day window
- Read the objection help file provided on the portal before you start
- Log in with the details requested
- Select the question that you want to challenge
- Write your objection and the correct answer that you believe in, in clear and simple words
- Give the supporting material that the portal asks for
- Check all details, and submit before the window closes
What Makes a Strong Objection
- One question, one clear point: say what is wrong, and what the correct answer should be
- A reliable source: a textbook, an official publication or a Government document, with page or section number
- For numerical questions, a short working
- Polite and brief language
- A screenshot or printout kept as your own proof
Only submit objections that you can support. A question that you simply remember differently, with no source, is unlikely to change the key, and it uses up the time of your five-day window. Spend your effort on the few questions where you are confident and have proof.
How to Estimate Your Score From the Draft Key
Use the marking scheme of your own advertisement, because the marks per question and the negative marking are different for different DSSSB posts.
- Count the questions you answered correctly as per the draft key
- Count the wrong answers
- Multiply the correct answers by the marks of each question
- Subtract the negative marks only if your advertisement gives them
- The result is your estimated score
| Example Only | Correct | Wrong | Marks per Correct | Negative per Wrong | Estimated Score |
| Sample 1 | 100 | 20 | 1 | 0.25 | 95.00 |
| Sample 2 | 90 | 30 | 1 | 0.25 | 82.50 |
| Sample 3 | 80 | 20 | 1 | 0 | 80.00 |
These samples only show the method. They are not the scheme of any particular post. The estimate can change, because the board may change some answers after it reviews the objections.
Your Five-Day Plan for Your Window
| Day of Your Window | What to Do |
| Day 1 | Log in, view the draft key, compare it with your responses and mark every doubtful question |
| Day 2 | Find sources for the doubtful questions and eliminate the ones where you are wrong |
| Day 3 | Write and submit your objections with the supporting material |
| Day 4 | Check that every objection is saved. Take screenshots |
| Day 5 | Backup day only. Do not keep first-time work for the last day, because the portal can be slow |
The last day of each window is the busiest. If you are in Phase 1 (6 to 10 November), your first-day work starts on 6 November, so do the preparation (post code, login details, sources) before that day. Candidates in later phases get more time to prepare, but their window is the same five days.
What Comes After the Draft Answer Key
- The board will review the objections in each phase
- A final answer key will be prepared after the review
- The result will follow, and the next stages (such as document verification) will be announced on the website
The present notice does not give any date for final answer keys or results of the 21 post codes. Keep checking the DSSSB website, and do not depend on social media or unofficial pages.
A draft answer key is not a result. Even if your estimated score looks good or bad, wait for the final key and the official result notice before you make any decision about your preparation for the next exam.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Checking the wrong date because you did not confirm your post code
- Waiting for the last day of your window
- Submitting objections without any supporting source
- Using someone else’s marking scheme to calculate your score
- Believing that the draft answer key is final
- Ignoring the objection help file on the portal
- Trusting unofficial websites for dates, instead of the DSSSB notice
