Haryana Berojgari Bhatta Yojana 2026-27 in Simple Words

The Haryana Government gives a small monthly allowance to educated young people who are looking for a job but do not have one. This is called the Unemployment Allowance, or Berojgari Bhatta. If you qualify, you get Rs. 1,200 per month (if you are 12th pass) or Rs. 2,000 per month (if you are a graduate or have a 3-year diploma after 12th).

You can apply only once a year, during 1 to 30 November, and only online on the Employment Department website hrex.gov.in. There is no exam and no interview. The department checks your form and documents, and if everything is right, the allowance is paid to your bank account.

The most important rules are: you must be a Haryana domicile, aged 21 to 35, registered continuously with an Employment Exchange in Haryana for at least 3 years, and your family income should be within Rs. 3 lakh a year. Students, apprentices and employed or self-employed persons cannot get this allowance.

Berojgari Bhatta vs Saksham Yuva Yojana – Do Not Mix Them

  • Haryana Berojgari Bhatta (this page) is the Unemployment Allowance for Educated Unemployed Youth, started in 1988, applied on hrex.gov.in from 1 to 30 November.
  • Saksham Yuva Yojana is a different scheme of the same Employment Department, launched in 2016, with an allowance and an honorarium for work. Its own portal is hreyahs.gov.in.
  • Under the guidelines in the source, a person registered under Saksham Yuva is not eligible for this allowance.
  • Different websites show different Saksham Yuva amounts and rules, so this page does not copy them. Read the official Saksham Yuva notice if you want to know about it.

Employment Exchange Registration – Important Advice

  • The 3-year registration must be continuous. A break in registration can create a problem.
  • Your registration should be on the Live Register at hrex.gov.in. Check this before you apply.
  • If you are not yet registered, you can register as a job seeker on hrex.gov.in. This will not count for this year, but it can help in future years. This is our general advice, not a rule from the notice.
  • Keep your registration ID card or number safe. You need it to log in.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Waiting for the last day of November.
  • Not getting Annexure-A attested by the SDM (Civil).
  • Missing the signature or thumb impression of the Head of the Family on the printout.
  • Using a ration card of the wrong family. Married women must give the in-laws’ ration card.
  • Applying when you are a student, trainee, apprentice, employed or self-employed.
  • Giving a bank account that is not linked with Aadhaar.
  • Believing agents who ask for money to get the allowance. No application fee is prescribed.
  • Not keeping a copy of the form and the acknowledgement.

Source of Information

The allowance amounts, eligibility rules, documents, Annexure-A process, steps to apply and dates are taken from the Karmasandhan report dated 29 October 2026, which links to the scheme guidelines PDF on hrex.gov.in. We could not open the official PDF directly. A search found a copy of the guidelines that supports the online-only mode, the 21 to 35 age limit, and the rules about students, employed persons and documents. Information about the Saksham Yuva Scheme is shown only as a warning, because websites give different numbers. The day-by-day plan, yearly amounts and the self-check table are written for this page.
