Eligibility Criteria
1. Service Eligibility:

  • Currently serving as a Lower Primary Teacher or Upper Primary Teacher, Class-III in the Directorate of Primary Education, or a District/Municipal Primary Education Committee.
  • Must have worked for not less than 5 years in that cadre (relaxable at the appointing authority’s discretion where suitable candidates with the full period are unavailable).

  • Click “Apply Now” — the Application Form opens; fill in Personal Details first (fields marked with a red asterisk * are mandatory).
  • Click “Educational Details” and complete it in full.
  • Click “Save” — an Application Number is generated; note it down safely.
  • Go to “Upload Photo” — enter Application Number and Date of Birth, click OK, then upload Photo (5 cm height × 3.6 cm width) and Signature (2.5 cm height × 7.5 cm width), each in JPG format, under 10 KB.
  • Click “Confirm Application” → enter Application Number & DOB → OK → choose “Show Application Preview” first to review, then “Confirm Application.”

Exam Centre, Medium & Hall Ticket
  • Exam centres will be fixed within Gujarat State only, based on the number of registered candidates and administrative feasibility.
  • Candidates must appear in person at the centre allotted by the Board — no request for centre change is entertained.

Important Instructions & Disqualification Rules
  • Name, surname, date of birth and category, once submitted online, will not be corrected later by the Board under any circumstance — check every field before final confirmation.
  • Details submitted are not verified by the Board at the application stage — candidates are personally responsible for the correctness of personal, educational, experience and other details.
  • Submitting false information, suppressing material facts, impersonation, using unfair means, misbehaviour in the exam hall, or violating admission-certificate conditions can lead to disqualification, debarment from future exams, and even criminal/disciplinary proceedings — including cancellation of an appointment already made.
  • A candidate who fails to attend the exam on the notified date/time will not be considered for selection — no rescheduling on individual request.
