  • Kannada test: If you are not exempt, practise Kannada reading and writing. You need at least 50 out of 150
  • OMR practice: Practise marking OMR sheets neatly and learn the rule about the 5th option
  • Negative marking: Do not guess blindly. Each wrong answer costs 0.25 mark
  • Mock tests: Solve two 100-question papers in 2 hours each

Note: The exact syllabus is given by KEA. These tips are general.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Applying under the wrong notification (RPC instead of KK, or the other way)
  • Applying while your diploma result is still pending
  • Claiming reservation without a valid certificate
  • Paying the fee late (last date 27 November 2026) or paying a wrong amount
  • Uploading photo or signature in a wrong format or size
  • Not reading the Kannada test rules and exemption conditions
  • Confusing this recruitment with the KEA FDA/SDA recruitment (5,431 posts) or other KEA notifications
