Marks After Prelims (As Reported)

Exam Day Instructions

• Carry the printed hall ticket
• Carry the original photo ID that KPSC has mentioned in its instructions
• Reach the centre before reporting time — do not depend only on the 10:00 AM paper time
• Attend both Paper I and Paper II
• Use only the pen and materials allowed in the instructions
• Mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices are not allowed (normal PSC rule). Check your hall ticket
• Fill the OMR sheet carefully — wrong filling can cancel an answer
• Check the KPSC website once on the evening before the exam for any last-minute update

Last 10 Days Plan — Simple Tips

• Days 1–3: Revise important topics and your own short notes. Do not start big new topics
• Days 4–7: Solve one full-length mock of both papers in the same time slots (10–12 and 2–4)
• Days 8–9: Revise current affairs of Karnataka and India, and your weak areas
• Day before: Check hall ticket, ID, pens, route to centre. Sleep early
• Plan your attempts. With negative marking, skip questions you cannot narrow down
• Practise filling OMR sheets

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Waiting for the hall ticket and not checking the portal daily
• Using unofficial sites or forwarding fake messages saying “hall ticket released”
• Not checking the centre address and travel time in advance
• Reaching late — gates close before paper time
• Missing Paper II after the lunch break
• Guessing every question even with negative marking
• Carrying a phone, smartwatch or notes inside the hall
