• PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed, along with passing the required Teacher Eligibility Test where applicable
• TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed, along with passing OSSTET/CTET or an equivalent Teacher Eligibility Test as prescribed by NCTE guidelines
• Candidates are usually required to have passed Odia as a subject up to Class X, or to have qualified a single-subject Odia examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha
