Common Problems in Downloading Admit Card – Easy Solutions

  • Problem: The admit card link is not opening on 06 November 2026. Solution: This is normal. The link will go live only on 13 November 2026. Do not worry, and do not trust any fake link before that date.
  • Problem: Website is not opening / server is slow on 13 November. Solution: Try again after some time, use Chrome browser, and do not open many tabs. Early morning is usually faster.
  • Problem: Forgot Registration Number. Solution: Check your email and SMS from September 2026. Your Registration Number was sent there at the time of registration. Use the “Forgot” option on the login page, if available.
  • Problem: Invalid login details. Solution: Check your Date of Birth format (DD-MM-YYYY) and Registration Number carefully. Do not use space before or after the number.
  • Problem: Admit card PDF is not downloading. Solution: Allow pop-ups in your browser, try a different browser, and check your internet. Download on a desktop / laptop, not only on a phone, for a clear print.
  • Problem: Photo or name is wrong on the admit card. Solution: Contact UKPSC through its official website psc.uk.gov.in at once. Do not wait for the exam day.

How to Prepare in the Last 15 Days – Before 29 November 2026

  • Revise, do not start new topics: In the last two weeks, revise your notes, Uttarakhand GK, current affairs of the last 6 to 12 months, and important facts. Do not start a big new chapter now.
  • Practice mock tests in exam time: Take full mock tests in the same time as the real exam – Paper 1 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Paper 2 from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM. Check your speed and accuracy.
  • Focus on Paper 1 for merit: Only Paper 1 marks decide who goes to the Mains. Give it the most time, but do not ignore Paper 2 – you must score at least 33% in it to qualify.
  • Revise Uttarakhand daily: History, geography, culture, rivers, dams, national parks, state schemes, and current news of Uttarakhand. At least one-third of Paper 1 is from Uttarakhand.
  • Do not guess too much: Because of 1/4 negative marking, leave a question blank if you have no idea. Attempt only when you can remove at least 2 wrong options.
  • Keep your admit card and ID ready from 13 November: Print 2 copies of the admit card, keep your original ID and photocopy in one folder, and keep a pen ready. Do not search for them on the morning of 29 November.
