Good to know:
- Different test, same website: The High Court has also published the answer key for the Clerk / Proof Reader (High Court establishment) screening test held on 15 October 2026. No objections were received, so its provisional key has been treated as the final key. This is a separate recruitment and not part of the 388-post District Judiciary advertisement.
- Provisional and final keys are listed one after the other on the notice page. Open the one marked “ANSWER KEY (Final)”.
- Some websites show links on a different web address. We suggest you open the High Court’s own site, highcourt.hp.gov.in, and go to its notices (Latest/Recruitment) list.
|
| Note: If your PDF says “PROVISIONAL”, you have the wrong file. Go back to the notice list and open the one marked “Final”. |

How to Calculate Your Estimated Score Using the Final Answer Key
|
- Open the final answer key for your post and the question paper set you wrote (Set / Series code).
- Go question by question and compare your marked option with the correct option in the key.
- Count your correct answers.
- Count your wrong answers.
- Note your unattempted questions. They normally carry no marks.
- Apply the marking scheme printed on your question paper (marks for each question, and negative marking if any).
|
|
Formula: Estimated Score = (Correct Answers × Marks per Question) − (Wrong Answers × Negative Marks per Wrong Answer, if any)
Example (only to help you understand, not the real scheme): If each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking, then 60 correct answers = 60 marks. If there were a negative mark of 0.25, then 60 correct and 12 wrong would be 60 − (12 × 0.25) = 57 marks.
|
| Note: The advertisement says the Screening Test is “as per the syllabus uploaded separately on the website”. The number of questions, marks and negative marking are not stated in the sources we checked. Please use the marking scheme given on your own question paper or on the High Court website. |
Objections to the Answer Key — What Happened and What Now?
|
- The High Court invited objections to the provisional keys for 3 days, up to 20 October 2026.
- Objections were accepted only by email from the candidate’s registered email ID on the High Court recruitment portal, with the Name, Roll Number and Address, and proof (documents) in readable PDF / DOC / JPG form (as reported).
- Only candidates who had appeared in the test could object. The Roll Number was a must.
- After reviewing the objections, the High Court uploaded the Final Answer Keys on 28 October 2026.
- The window is now closed. No new objections are being taken on the final key.
- As per the advertisement, re-checking and re-evaluation of answer sheets is not allowed at any stage, and no request for it will be entertained.
|
| Note: If you think the final key has a mistake, there is no stated way to object now. Keep checking the High Court website for any notice or corrigendum. |

- Keep your mobile and email active: The High Court will send test dates and other information only by SMS and email.
- Keep documents valid: Certificates must be valid at the time of application and at document verification, and must be issued in your own name.
