Work Experience Requirement

• No educational qualification is fixed, but candidates with one year of sanitation-work experience in any ULB of Rajasthan get preference in the selection process (see Lottery Process below).
• This one-year experience can be continuous or broken across separate spells, as long as it totals one full year.
• The experience certificate must be issued in the prescribed format by the ULB — either directly by the Chief Municipal Officer (or an officer authorised by them), or, where a contractor/agency employed the worker, by the agency’s senior manager with counter-signature from the ULB’s competent authority.
• Crucially, the certificate is valid only if issued after 01 August 2026 and before the final application date — any certificate dated before this cut-off will not be accepted, regardless of how genuine the underlying experience is.

Grounds for Disqualification

• A male candidate with more than one living wife is not eligible, unless the State Government has specifically exempted him.
• A female candidate who has married a man who already has a living spouse is not eligible, absent a specific State exemption.
• Any candidate who accepted dowry at the time of their own marriage is not eligible for appointment.
• Per Personnel Department notification dated 16 March 2023, a candidate with more than two children as of/after 1 June 2002 is generally not eligible — with carve-outs for cases involving multiple births (twins/triplets) and for children born from a valid remarriage in specific circumstances.
• Candidates dismissed from government service on disciplinary grounds, or declared unfit for any government service, or convicted in any case of moral turpitude, cannot apply.

How to Apply Online — Step by Step

• Go to the LSG portal https://lsg.urban.rajasthan.gov.in/ or the SSO portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in via Citizen Apps (G2C) → Recruitment Portal.
• If One Time Registration (OTR) is not already done, complete it first — select your category (UR/EWS/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/SC/ST/SAH), disability status if any, and home-state details, then pay the OTR fee.
• Once OTR is complete, click Apply Now, choose the ULB and post, and carefully fill in personal, educational, residency, category, and experience details.
• Capture a live photo at the time of submission (uploading an old/pre-saved photo is not accepted) and complete the visible-mark and signature/thumb-impression upload as instructed.
• Upload self-attested, clear scans of all supporting documents, including the sanitation-work experience certificate (if claiming experience preference), dated after 01 August 2026.
• Review every entry carefully — details entered during OTR (name, father’s name, DOB, gender) cannot be edited later — then submit and save the Application ID and printout.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Applying to more than one ULB — a candidate may apply to only one nagariya nikay out of the 183 advertised; applying to more than one gets all applications rejected.
• Submitting an experience certificate dated before 01 August 2026 — even genuine prior experience won’t count if the certificate itself predates the cut-off.
• Assuming the OTR-entered name/DOB/gender can be corrected later inside the application form — it cannot; errors must be fixed in Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar before starting OTR.
• Uploading a non-live, previously-saved photograph instead of using the live capture feature — this alone can lead to rejection at verification.
• Treating this as a qualification-based competitive exam — there is no written test; outcome depends on experience-tier eligibility and lottery draw.
• Waiting until 28 September to apply — any last-minute OTR payment or document issue leaves no time to resolve before the deadline.
