TSCSCL Recruitment 2026 in Simple Words

The Telangana Government has given permission to fill 166 vacant posts in the Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation. These are mostly office, accounts and technical posts. The permission was given through a Finance Department order, G.O.Ms.No.143, dated 19 October 2026.

The actual selection will be done by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC). Before it publishes a notification, the commission has to collect details from the department, such as the exact vacancies, reservation roster points and local cadre-wise vacancies. Only after that will it release the official advertisement with the eligibility rules, dates and exam details.

What Does the Corporation Do? Where Will You Work?

TSCSCL works under the Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies Department. It is linked with buying, storing, moving and distributing essential items and food grains, and it supports the public distribution system and food security programmes of the state. The posts approved here are for the technical, accounts, office and inspection work of this system.

• Technical Assistant posts: Likely linked with technical work such as quality, storage and stock-related matters. This is a general idea. The exact duties are in the service rules.

Local Candidate Rules in Telangana – Know Early

• Telangana recruitment follows local cadre and zonal rules. The notification will list the local-cadre-wise vacancies.
• In an earlier TSPSC notification (Group-III, 2022), local candidate status was decided as per Para-7 of G.O.Ms.No.124 of the General Administration Department. This is only an example of how it works.
• Keep your study certificates ready (usually Class 4 to Class 10 or the period asked in the notice), because they can decide your local status.
• Read the local candidate rules and the roster points in the TSCSCL notification carefully.

• In the earlier 2022 TSPSC notification for Group-III posts, the age relaxation shown in the snippet we saw was 5 years for SC / ST / BC / EWS. This is only an example from another notification.

Selection Process – What to Expect (Not Confirmed)

TGPSC has not announced the selection stages for TSCSCL. In an earlier TSPSC notification for engineering posts, the selection was by an objective-type written exam (CBRT or OMR based), and merit was decided by the marks in that exam. The TSCSCL process may be similar, or different. This is only an example.

• Written exam pattern, number of questions, marks and negative marking: Awaited.

1. Visit tgpsc.gov.in and open the Notifications or Recruitment section.
2. Read the TSCSCL notification fully when it is published.
3. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the TGPSC website, or update your OTR profile. Use your TGPSC ID to log in.
4. Open the TSCSCL application form and select your post.
5. Fill in your personal, educational and other details.
6. Upload your photograph, signature and any required certificate.
7. Pay the application fee if it is applicable.
8. Submit the form and save the application copy and payment receipt.
