The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released Advertisement No. NAPS/HRM/APPRENTICE/02/2026 for 80 apprenticeship seats at its Narora Atomic Power Station in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh. There are 50 seats for ITI holders (Trade Apprentice),
16 seats for diploma holders (Diploma Apprentice) and 14 seats for graduates (Graduate Apprentice). The training can last up to 12 months. The online application opens today, 29 October 2026, at 10:00 hrs and closes on 18 November 2026 at 16:00 hrs,
so you have about three weeks. One special rule makes this recruitment different from many others: eligible candidates who live within 16 km of the Narora plant are considered first. NPCIL is a public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, and it handles all stages of a nuclear power reactor, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning. This is a training chance in a very respected organisation, but please remember that an apprenticeship is not a job, and NPCIL does not promise any job after the training.

If Your Marks Are in CGPA, GPA or Grades |
|
| If your institute gives CGPA, GPA, SGPA or letter grades, you must upload the conversion table issued by your institute. If your institute has no conversion formula, NPCIL uses the table below, which shows the CGPA that matches 55%, 60% and 65%. | |
| CGPA / CPI Scale | Equal to 55% / 60% / 65% |
| 10 point | 5.9 / 6.5 / 7.0 |
| 9 point | 4.9 / 5.4 / 6.0 |
| 8 point | 4.4 / 4.8 / 5.3 |
| 7 point | 3.8 / 4.2 / 4.6 |
| 6 point | 3.3 / 3.6 / 4.0 |
| 5 point | 2.7 / 3.0 / 3.3 |
| 4 point | 2.0 / 2.2 / 2.5 |
| Example (for understanding only): A student on a 10-point scale with a CGPA of 6.5 is treated as having 60% when no institute formula is available. Your institute’s own formula, if it exists, comes first, so always attach it. | |
