Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Passed 10th Class/Matriculation from a recognized Board of School Education
• Serving Special Police Officers (SPOs) of Ladakh Police with at least 3 years of continuous engagement as on the last date of application are eligible even with 8th Pass qualification, subject to fulfilling other conditions

• A candidate must possess a valid Domicile Certificate of the Union Territory of Ladakh

Ladakh Police Constable is placed in Level-2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, corresponding to a pay range of ₹19,900 – ₹63,200, based on offer-of-appointment memoranda issued by Ladakh Police Headquarters for earlier Constable recruitment cycles under the same pay level. Actual in-hand pay will additionally include applicable Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances admissible to UT Ladakh government employees, including special hardship/high-altitude allowances that may apply given Ladakh’s terrain and postings in remote border areas.
